Quiltville-Bonnie Hunter

Okay, as soon as I get a couple of Christmas presents done, I am starting this mystery quilt.  Have my fabrics all picked out.  Will post picture of them later.  Gotta run.

Camping season is definitely over as it snowed yesterday.  Was a great season.  We got flooded out two times at Ives Run and had to reschedule both times.  Also camped at Cool Lea, Trout Run, Warren, PA, and Maine.  The Maine trip was the best by far.  Cody loved Maine and learned to swim in the ocean, once he got past the taste of seawater!  I could really get used to this traveling thing.

Camper bed room

Montana High Country

Finally, the weather warmed up enough to run out the 4 slides and take some pictures of the interior of our new fifth wheel RV. Bought it in November and haven't been able to play/use it all winter. Bummer. Need to retire, right? LOL.

Finally, we did it

After several years, I'm thinking 6 or more, we bought our new camper. We changed our mind several times -- Class A, toy hauler, fifth wheel? Finally we decided on a fifth wheel, but which one? We found the exact model we wanted this last May, got our tow vehicle in August, and found the unit at a price we wanted to pay in November. Went down to Danville VA to RV Outlet USA on Veterans Day and brought it home the next day. I am sure you will see more pictures of it here once the weather warms up. Too bad we had such cold weather and had to put it to bed so early.
It is a 2011 Montana High Country model 343RL. Basically, it is our vacation home on wheels. Oh, the trips we are planning. This year, 2 weeks in Maine for sure.

Santa Sled

It took me four classes but I finished my Quilting Santa sled. The sled was provided by my kind painting teacher when I fell in love with the project but couldn't find a sled. She sent her husband to the storage barn to dig it out. Then she prepped it, and it was all ready for me to do the Santa.

When Dave saw it, he fell in love with it and said I should have given it to him for Christmas. The sled reminds us all of sleds we had as kids.

It was fun to be back at painting class. What do you think of it?
